The Great Crane Migration - Kearney, Nebraska
These few snapshots offer a bit of insight into the amazing migration of over 500,000 sandhill cranes (above) in the south of Nebraska along the Platte River. As we drove along the old Lincoln highway #30, and as we approached the city of Grand Island, we were greeted by thousands of snow geese overhead and in the fields (not shown).
