streetart on the michigan coast

this streetart was spotted on the bender park road that is now blocked off. the park, according to oak creek city minute meetings, is being surveyed for possible apartment or condominium development which will span along the edge of lake michigan. the streetart was a charming part of my walk. i'm happy i've captured a bit of the road for posterity.

Except for the K+A shot, the rest look like surveyors marks. Still, I guess a type of art, since you captured it.

I knew you would pick up on that. I know it's not really streetart. It was sarcasm, doncha know?

Bender Park really is haunted, and no I'm not a cook (my own opinion I suppose). Oakwood Road and Fitzsimmons Road both have a long dark history of genuine hauntings. I am a 35 year old male from Caledonia, and I've lived in South Eastern Wisconsin all of my life (not bragging or complaining). I spent many days as a youth running around through the Bender Park forest and wild flower fields and apple orchards, and down by the beach too! The drag strip stories and crazy farmer story have been around since I can remember. The one thing that is creepy is that the story never really changes, it always stays very consistant. There have been several confirmed fatalities, especially on Oakwood road, where most of the drag races took place. Some people died unexpectedly when their car would plunge off the cliff because they didn't know the road ended, and then there were suicides as well. Although the road has been blocked off for several years now, there has been 2 confirmed suicides in Bender Park since 2005. One was a young man in his early 20's, and the other was a male in his 40's. There was a military training facility in Bender Park in the late 50's - early 60's. I have been thinking about doing a documentary or book on the dark past of Bender Park. If anybody has stories they'd like to share, or if anyone wants more information or a tour of Bender Park, please contact me. I will leave my email at the bottom.
I noticed they put a youth campground off of Oakwood Road, right in the heart of the Haunted Park. Imagine the tales they could tell around the campfire! :)
